China Mobile, Telecom, Netcom Report August Statistics

China Mobile added 7.175 million new subscribers to its network in August to reach 428.869 million total subscribers.

China Telecom lost 690,000 fixed-line users to record a total of 213.60 million fixed-line subscribers in August. The company gained 690,000 broadband subscribers to reach 41.45 million total broadband users.

China Netcom added 272,000 broadband Internet users and lost 407,000 fixed-line phone subscribers in August. By the end of the eighth month, China Netcom had a total of 24.252 million broadband subscribers and 107.801 million fixed-line phone users.
