China Mobile Confirms WiMAX Network For Olympics

China Mobile confirmed on April 30 that it will set up a WiMAX network for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, reports China Business News. It had been previously speculated that China Mobile would use Datang Telecom subsidiary Xinwei Telecom Technology's in-house developed McWill wireless broadband standard for the Olympics.
